I’ve always balanced my world between words and visuals. While I’m a writer by trade, sketching has been a lifelong anchor for me, a passion sparked years ago when my grandfather taught me the grid method. Over time, that foundation evolved through studying the techniques of artists like Teoh Yi Chie, leading me toward a deep love for Urban Sketching and the delicate details of botanicals.
Art, for me, offers a stillness that photography can’t quite capture; it requires a macro level of observation that forces you to truly see. You won't find my bird sketches here just yet, sadly, my entire collection was lost during a trip along the South Coast of Australia, but I’m looking forward to rebuilding that gallery one wing at a time.
